Geoff Parker

Chief Executive Officer, Australian Beverages Council
Geoff has spent his senior career in a range of executive management roles within industry peak bodies, private companies and government departments in Australia.
Since commencing in mid 2009 as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Beverages Council based in Sydney, Geoff has focused on raising the profile of the Council, enhancing the value proposition for members and embarking on a more strategically focussed engagement program with key opinion leaders. Since commencing in the role he has initiated the merger of two affiliated entities under the umbrella of the Council which now represents over 95% of the non-alcoholic beverage industry in Australia.
In 2009 Geoff was appointed to the Board of the International Council of Beverages Associations based in Washington DC, and in 2010 was elected as President. In late 2012 he was re-elected for a consecutive two year term. He is also a director for the International Council of Bottled Water Associations and has held a number of Board positions over the last twenty years. Geoff is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management. He is married with one daughter.
