Socially Responsible
Bisleri makes a conscious effort to keep the environment safe and healthy. It is a constant endeavour to give back to the environment and the community at large. As a part of ‘Our Social Responsibility’, Bisleri has started several initiatives such as:
‘Bottles for Change’ – This initiative focuses to create awareness amongst all citizens about plastic segregation, recycling of plastic bottles and best practices towards cleaner environment.
Project Nayi Ummeed – Focuses to conserve rainwater by building and restoring Check Dams.
Ozone Treatments – Ozone Forum of India supported by Bisleri Charitable Trust works towards promoting Ozone Therapy as an economical integrated complementary branch of medicine.
World Record Holder
Bisleri is also a World Record Holder. Supporting the Swachh Bharat mission, Bisleri initiated a plastic bottle collection & recycling awareness drive in schools. On October 4th, 2015, Bisleri entered the Guinness World Records and Limca Book of Records for collecting highest number of PET bottles for recycling, through a school contact programme reaching out to over 2 lakh students. Bisleri surpassed the earlier record by collecting 23,538.9 kgs of PET bottles i.e. 1.1 million bottles!
