BACKGROUND
Founded in 2010, the Indian Beverage Association (IBA) has its genesis in the erstwhile ISDMA. Today, IBA is the leading national association representing Indian companies with direct and allied interests in the non-alcoholic beverage industry.
The Indian Beverage Association is the first such industry organization in India that acts as a common voice for the non-alcoholic beverage industry. It plays a significant role in the growth of this sector, a sector that drives the economy by providing employment opportunities and driving income growth. The Association serves as an inter-face between the Industry, government and the public, besides providing a unified and focused viewpoint in respect of legislative, regulatory and policy matters. It also serves as a platform to share and exchange knowledge and information on industry best practices.
Vision & Mission
To strengthen and boost the Beverages Sector as a significant pillar of contribution to national GDP.
To act as an interface and intermediary to enable stakeholders to be on a common platform to address the challenges and voice the opportunities of the sector to capture the global market and facilitate India to be a Global Beverage Hub.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To act as a catalyst to enable the non-alcoholic beverage industry to play an increasingly significant role in the growth of the national economy.
To address the common concerns of the Members of the Association pertaining to the Central and State Governments, various regulatory agencies, trade associations and other stakeholders and parties that provide support and initiate necessary action to resolve such problems, towards securing the best interests of the Members of the Association.
To facilitate the framing, development, and dissemination of the best practices related to environment, quality, manufacture, and other relevant areas, for continuing to make available to the consumers safe and healthy non aLcOholic beverages.
To pro-actively interact with the Central and State Governments and other apex Industry Chambers in the formulation of the policies and rules the promote and protect the interests of the non-alcoholic beverage industry.
To provide a common platform to share and exchange knowledge and information including with regard to industry best practices connected with non-alcoholic beverage Industry.
To do such other things as necessary to promote the interests of the Members of the Society and incidental to the attainment of the above objects.
WHY IBA
